Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and minced ginger. Sauté for about 5 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
  2. Stir in 1.5 cups of uncooked jasmine rice, mixing well for about 2 minutes until slightly golden and nutty.
  3. Add 1 cup of diced pineapple, 2 tablespoons of sriracha, 2 tablespoons of coconut aminos, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Stir for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in 3 cups of water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Turn off heat and let it rest covered for 5 minutes. Fluff the rice gently with a fork before serving.
