Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
- Prepare the vanilla cake batter as per package instructions. Divide into three bowls; leave one bowl plain and color the others with red and blue gel paste.
- Pour the plain batter into the pan, and dollop red and blue batter on top. Swirl gently with a knife to create a tie-dye effect.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack.
- Make the frosting by beating the butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and almond milk, then incorporate vanilla and salt.
- Frost the cooled cake with vanilla frosting and decorate with red, white, and blue sprinkles.

Notes
Use quality gel paste for the brightest colors. Don’t overmix the batter to maintain distinct color layers, and ensure the cake cools completely before frosting.
