Ingredients

For the Herbal Base
  • 2 cups Water or Herbal Tea
  • 2 tablespoons Chamomile Flowers
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Hibiscus Flowers
For Sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon Natural Sweetener (like honey or agave syrup, to taste)
For Creaminess
  • 1 ripe Banana (optional, mashed)

Equipment

  • popsicle molds
  • saucepan
  • Mixing Bowl

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by boiling 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of chamomile flowers and 1 tablespoon of dried hibiscus flowers. Cover and steep for 10 minutes, then strain.
  2. Combine the cooled herbal infusion with your choice of natural sweetener in a mixing bowl. Stir well, and blend in 1 ripe mashed banana if desired.
  3. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a small gap at the top. Tap molds gently to remove air bubbles.
  4. Place molds in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours, then insert popsicle sticks in the center of each mold and return them to the freezer for at least 4 to 6 hours.
  5. To release popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the molds for 30 seconds and gently pull on the sticks.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer.
