Cooking Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for about 5 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sautéed onion and garlic with spinach, ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Greek yogurt, dill, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Shape the mixture into eight uniform patties, about ½ inch thick. Place on a clean plate.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes.
- Transfer cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm.
