  • 1 tsp garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can give a stronger punch.
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika Regular paprika is a fine substitution if smoked isn’t available.
  • 1 tsp coarse sea salt Adjust according to your taste.
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese Feel free to use a milder cheese if you prefer.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Optional; skip for a gluten-free version.
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds Black & white, for garnish.

Method
 

Steps
  1. Slice the Persian cucumbers into ½ cm (¼") thick pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the diced red onion and finely chopped jalapeño to the bowl with the cucumber slices and toss gently to combine.
  3. In the same bowl, add the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and coarse sea salt; fold until well blended.
  4. Sprinkle in the sharp cheddar cheese and drizzle with soy sauce if using; gently toss everything together.
  5. Transfer to a serving plate, sprinkle sesame seeds on top, and chill for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
