  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are tender and golden brown. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and a dash of salt and pepper. Gently mix until just combined. Shape into four equal patties.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Cook burger patties for 4-5 minutes per side until they reach desired doneness.
  4. In the final minute of grilling, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and close the lid to melt the cheese.
  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill if desired. Assemble burgers starting with a grilled patty on each bottom bun, topped with sautéed mushrooms, and any additional toppings.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your Mushroom Swiss Burgers, perhaps with fries or a salad.
