Preparation Steps
- Sift the matcha powder into a medium bowl and stir in granulated sugar and hot water until frothy.
- In a chilled mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, sifted matcha powder, and vanilla extract. Whip until stiff peaks form.
- Dip ladyfingers into the cooled matcha soak for exactly 2 seconds and layer them in the bottom of the dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers. Smooth evenly.
- Repeat the layering process with another layer of ladyfingers followed by the remaining cream mixture.
- Cover and chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
- Dust with extra matcha powder before serving.
