Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Sift the matcha powder into a medium bowl and stir in granulated sugar and hot water until frothy.
  2. In a chilled mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, sifted matcha powder, and vanilla extract. Whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Dip ladyfingers into the cooled matcha soak for exactly 2 seconds and layer them in the bottom of the dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers. Smooth evenly.
  5. Repeat the layering process with another layer of ladyfingers followed by the remaining cream mixture.
  6. Cover and chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  7. Dust with extra matcha powder before serving.
