Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until shimmering. Add 3 tablespoons of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, stirring frequently, until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Add 14 ounces of Lil Smokies to the skillet with the sautéed garlic. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the smokies are nicely browned and heated through.
- While the smokies are cooking, whisk together 1/2 cup of honey, 2 tablespoons of hot sauce, and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce in a bowl until well combined.
- Once the Lil Smokies are golden brown, pour the glaze mixture over them in the skillet. Stir well to ensure the sausages are fully coated in the glaze.
- Allow them to simmer on low heat for about 3 to 5 minutes, which will thicken the sauce and create a sticky coating.
- Optionally sprinkle the Hot Honey Garlic Lil Smokies with red pepper flakes and chopped fresh parsley or green onions. Serve them warm.
