Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking when your Hawaiian Roll French Toast Bake is assembled.
- Grease your 9x13-inch baking dish thoroughly with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, creating a top and bottom layer. Place the bottom half snugly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until the mixture is smooth and homogenous.
- Pour half of the custard mixture evenly over the bottom half of the sliced rolls. Allow them to soak for about 5 minutes.
- Once the bottom layer has soaked, carefully place the top half of the sliced rolls over the soaked base. Pour the remaining custard mixture over the top layer.
- Melt some butter and drizzle it over the assembled bake for added richness.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
- Remove the plastic wrap and bake the casserole uncovered for 35-40 minutes.
- Once baked, remove your Hawaiian Roll French Toast Bake from the oven and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes
For best flavor, allow the assembled bake to refrigerate overnight. Customize toppings for variety such as fresh berries or whipped cream.
