Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your ingredients.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, chopped basil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Blanch asparagus for 1-2 minutes and then transfer to an ice bath.
  4. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  5. Spread the ricotta filling on each salmon fillet and roll them around a piece of asparagus.
  6. Sear the salmon rolls seam-side down in a skillet with olive oil for 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Bake the salmon rolls in the oven for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Prepare the lemon sauce by combining heavy cream, chicken broth, butter, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice in a saucepan.
  9. Plate the rolls, drizzle with lemon sauce, and garnish with parsley.
