- Mash the ripe bananas in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Mix the mashed bananas with the neutral oil and melted chocolate until well combined.
- Combine the banana-chocolate mixture with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle dark chocolate chips on top if desired.
