  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk can be swapped with whole milk or half-and-half
  • 1 cup double cream (heavy cream) single cream can be used for a lighter version

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Wash and dry the fresh strawberries under cool running water. Trim the green tops off and slice the strawberries into halves or quarters.
  2. If the strawberries are tart, sprinkle a little sugar over them and let sit for about 10 minutes to enhance their sweetness.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and double cream. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  4. Layer the sliced strawberries in serving glasses or bowls, then pour the creamy mixture over them.
  5. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
