Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash the fresh baby spinach or kale thoroughly and pat dry to avoid ice crystals.
  2. Slice the English cucumber into uniform rounds and peel and slice the bananas into 1/2 inch coins.
  3. Take five reusable freezer bags and lay them flat on your countertop.
  4. Layer the ingredients starting with spinach or kale, followed by cucumber rounds, banana slices, frozen fruit, chia/flaxseeds, and nut butter.
  5. Press out air from the bags and seal tightly to prevent freezer burn.
  6. Stack the bags flat in the freezer for up to three months.
  7. When ready, empty a bag into a blender, add 1 cup of your liquid of choice, and blend until smooth.
