- Wash the fresh baby spinach or kale thoroughly and pat dry to avoid ice crystals.
- Slice the English cucumber into uniform rounds and peel and slice the bananas into 1/2 inch coins.
- Take five reusable freezer bags and lay them flat on your countertop.
- Layer the ingredients starting with spinach or kale, followed by cucumber rounds, banana slices, frozen fruit, chia/flaxseeds, and nut butter.
- Press out air from the bags and seal tightly to prevent freezer burn.
- Stack the bags flat in the freezer for up to three months.
- When ready, empty a bag into a blender, add 1 cup of your liquid of choice, and blend until smooth.
