Step-by-Step Instructions for Carrot Potato Tots
  1. Start by peeling and chopping the medium potato and the two medium carrots into small, even cubes.
  2. Steam the chopped potato and carrots for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are fork-tender.
  3. Once the vegetables are cooked, transfer them to a mixing bowl while they're still warm. Use a potato masher to mash the potato and carrot mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency.
  4. Add the shredded cheese into the warm vegetable mash and mix thoroughly until the cheese is fully integrated and melted slightly by the heat.
