Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the imitation crab meat with half of both the mozzarella and Colby Jack cheeses. Add diced celery, sour cream, white parts of green onions, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and garlic salt. Stir until well blended.
- Carefully transfer the mixture into a greased 8x8 baking dish or a round casserole dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Colby Jack cheeses generously over the top of the crab mixture.
- Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven, cool slightly, and garnish with the green parts of the sliced green onions. Serve hot.
