- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, pork fat, egg white, green onions, cornstarch, fish sauce, garlic powder, sugar, sesame oil, and white pepper. Mix thoroughly until cohesive.
- Trim crusts from bread and cut into quarters or triangles if desired.
- Spread the shrimp mixture generously over one side of each bread slice, ensuring good coverage.
- Decide on your cooking method. For frying, preheat oil to 325°F and fry each slice for 2 minutes on shrimp side.
- For air frying, preheat to 350°F and air fry shrimp toast for 7-9 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- For baking, preheat oven to 400°F and bake shrimp toasts for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Cool slightly on a paper towel-lined plate. Optionally garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
