Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the corn beef by crumbling it into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Shred and rinse the potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch, then dry.
  3. Mix the crumbled corned beef with shredded potatoes, grated onion, flour, and baking powder until well combined.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, adding butter and olive oil until melted and shimmering.
  5. Scoop about 1/4 cup of the mixture into the skillet, flatten slightly, and fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip the fritters and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is also golden brown.
  7. Remove from skillet, drain on paper towels, and serve immediately.
