Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brush the salmon filets with olive oil and season with Italian seasoning, kosher salt, and black pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear salmon for 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil.
  3. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Sprinkle in flour, whisking continuously to form a paste. Gradually add chicken broth and cream, stirring until smooth and simmering.
  5. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, lemon zest, and adjust seasonings. Simmer for 5 minutes.
