Preparation Steps
- Combine 1 cup rolled oats and 1 cup of your preferred milk. Add 2 tablespoons almond or peanut butter, 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a dash of cinnamon. Stir until creamy.
- If desired, add 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds and stir until distributed.
- Fold in 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons crushed nuts.
- Transfer the mixture into an airtight container and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, stir well and enjoy directly or with toppings.
