Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice with about 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Toast the buttered slices in the skillet for approximately 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the unbuttered sides of the first two toasted slices.
  5. Layer two lettuce leaves, two slices of tomato, four crispy bacon slices, and a slice of cheddar cheese on one mayonnaise-spread slice.
  6. Add the second mayonnaise-spread slice on top and layer with four slices of turkey, more lettuce, and the remaining tomato slice.
  7. Top with the third toasted slice of bread, press gently to compact the layers.
  8. Secure with toothpicks, slice diagonally into quarters, and serve.
