  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry Sheets thawed
  • 2 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar can substitute with coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon adjust to taste
For the Optional Frosting
  • 1 tube Frosting store-bought or homemade

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Thaw your two sheets of puff pastry for about 45 minutes until they're soft yet still cold.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and brush it over the thawed pastry sheets. Combine ¼ cup of granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon and sprinkle this mixture over one sheet.
  4. Layer the second pastry sheet on top, brush the edges with water for sealing, and crimp the edges.
  5. Cut the layered pastry into 16 strips and twist each strip twice from both ends to form bunny shapes.
  6. Transfer the twisted shapes to the baking sheet and bake for 17-18 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow the bunny twists to cool for about 20 minutes, then pipe frosting on one end for bunny tails or serve with frosting on the side.
