For the Cheesy Filling
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese freshly shredded

  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs panko optional
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
To Season
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
For the Topping
  • 2 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped, optional

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Oven

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, breadcrumbs, and Italian seasonings.
  3. Unroll your pizza dough on a clean surface and cut it into squares, approximately 4x4 inches in size.
  4. Take each dough square and place a spoonful of the cheese and chicken mixture in the center. Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  5. Carefully place each sealed roll seam-side down onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. In a small bowl, melt the butter and combine it with olive oil and minced garlic. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of each roll.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
  8. Once baked, remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.
