- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- In your greased baking dish, pour in the Alfredo sauce and warm chicken broth. Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and optional crushed red pepper.
- Add uncooked penne pasta, shredded cooked chicken, and chopped broccoli. Sprinkle in 2 cups of mozzarella and all the Parmesan cheese. Fold ingredients together until evenly coated.
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil halfway to stir the casserole.
- After 40 minutes, remove the foil, stir gently, and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Once golden, let the casserole rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
