Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and prepare a baking tray lined with parchment paper brushed with olive oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine beef mince, finely grated onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, Italian herb blend, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 10-12 portions, flatten each, place a cube of cheese in the center, wrap the meat around the cheese, and seal well.
  4. Place the patties on the prepared baking tray, brush with olive oil, and ensure there's space between them.
  5. Bake for 12-14 minutes until browned and crispy. Remove from oven and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 5-8 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  7. Allow the patties to rest for about 3 minutes, then garnish with parsley or chives if desired.
