  4. Blend drained cottage cheese, eggs, and cornstarch until smooth.
  5. In a bowl, mix blended mixture with caramelized onions, thyme, salt, pepper, and Gruyère cheese.
  6. Spread mixture in the dish, sprinkle remaining Gruyère on top, and bake for 35-40 minutes.
