- In a deep pan, pour in enough light beer to cover the bratwursts fully. Poke holes in each bratwurst and bring to a boil, then simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Melt 1.5 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add and stir the finely sliced yellow onions and cook for approximately 30 minutes until golden-brown.
- Remove the brats from the pan and slice. Sauté the sliced brats in the same skillet for about 5 minutes until browned and crispy.

- Roll out your pizza crust on a baking sheet. Distribute the mozzarella, caramelized onions, and bratwursts evenly over the crust.
