Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Wrap a whole bulb of garlic in aluminum foil and drizzle with olive oil. Roast for 25-30 minutes until soft.
  2. Once cooled, squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a bowl and mash with softened butter until smooth. Optionally add salt or herbs.
  3. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and spread the roasted garlic butter over the cut sides. Add cheese if desired.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place the buttered bread cut-side up in the basket and cook for 5-8 minutes until golden.
  5. Let the garlic bread cool for a minute, slice it, and serve warm with pasta or on its own.
